Sportsbet.Io Review May 2022
Is Sportsbet.Io Legit, Save and Trustworthy or a Scam?
Sportsbet.io is the full package. It is a cryptocurrency-based sportsbook with a great casino option. They allow you to convert your money to Bitcoin on the site which means you don’t have to go to an online currency exchange. The layout is beautiful yet simple. It seems to intuitively know what you want and lead you there. While the welcome bonus isn’t that great the rest of the site is well done. If you are looking for a better welcome bonus you can go elsewhere. If you are looking for a great sportsbook and a nice casino on the side, you could do a lot worse than Sportsbet.io.
Sportsbet.io: Pros & Cons
- Good odds
- A casino with games you’ve heard of
- Lots of sports to bet on
- Works just as well on their app as on their site
- Not a great welcome offer
The Sportsbet.io welcome bonus isn’t that good. And that plays into our Sportsbet.io review. Honestly, you can do a lot better elsewhere. When you sign up and make your first deposit, you’ll get a 300% matching bonus of up to 30 euros in free bets. These are in the form of vouchers you have to bet, and they can’t be withdrawn as cash. Honestly, nearly every other online betting site has a better welcome offer so if that’s what you want you can go somewhere else.
The rest of the site is well done so in our Sportsbet.io review we don’t downgrade it too much for not having a great welcome offer, but we do hope they improve it in the future. This is the one area where Sportsbet.io suffers and we don’t know why. It’s not that expensive to have a really good welcome offer. But yeah, just like with our Betwinner review, our Sportsbook.io review does penalize them somewhat for this.
Sportsbet.io has a clean look. You have dark blues set against white and blue. This causes the colors to pop out and you can easily read everything on the site. This goes as well for their app. Our Sportsbook.io review gives them serious props for this. The site is also easy to navigate, and you can always be sure what you have to hit to do what you want to do. It is honestly one of the best-looking sites we’ve reviewed and our Sportsbook.io review gives them many points for how well they’ve set up their site.
The casino is well integrated, and you can go back and forth just by hitting a couple of buttons. Sportsbook.io shows you exactly what a difference putting some effort into their design can make on a site. Everything on it just makes sense and our Sportsbook.io review recognizes this.

One thing we should note about Sportsbet.io – it does not accept payment in US dollars. You can use just about any other currency except the dollar. We have no idea why they don’t accept dollars, but you can just as easily play with pounds or euros. Their big push is to get you to use Bitcoin and they even have a Bitcoin exchange on their site so you can simply use that. There does not seem to be any limits on how much you can deposit with Bitcoin which is a good thing.
They also accept credit cards and many popular e-wallets. They seem to want to make it easy for you to make a deposit and we give this a lot of weight in our Sportsbook.io review. Everything is as easy as can be as long as you are not tied to the US dollar. If you are then you will have to go someplace else. That said it’s easy to convert Bitcoin into just about any currency you want to.
When it comes to customer service Sportsbook.io is lacking. The rest of the site is so good you would think they would excel at this, but they don’t. For one there is no phone number to call them up. You are left to deal with live chat and email. If their live chat worked correctly this would not be a problem. Unfortunately, it can take a half-hour or more to get a response from their live chat. Given that most online esports gambling shops respond to live chat instantly this a big red flag in our Sportsbet.io review.
When you send them an email you can wait 24 hours or more to hear back from them. Again, this is just not good. They need to have more people available to respond to customer concerns. Any sportsbook can be great when things are going well. It’s when they are not that you judge them. Our Sportsbook.io review takes away a lot of points for their lack of customer service.
Sportsbook.io is licensed in Curacao. While this may seem odd, they have all the enforcement guidelines of any place else to register a sportsbook or a casino. This means that you can trust that Sportsbook.io is operating a fair game. All of their transactions have the highest level of encryption technology available. That means your money is safe going to and from Sportsbook.io. Our Sportsbook.io review gives them high marks for this.
Of course, any chain is only as secure as both sides. You should run an antivirus program regularly to make sure your end of the equation is secure. Still, Sportsbook.io seems to have the full security package and the right license. You can use Sportsbook.io knowing your transactions will be secure. That’s more than we can say for a lot of sites. As we mention in our BetWinner review, our Sportsbook.io review gives them props for their security measures. They have all their bases covered.
Sportsbook.io has a decent loyalty program. Like most of these programs, you earn points with every bet. As you accumulate points you move up the tiers from green to bronze, to silver to gold to platinum. Each level offers you additional perks. If you don’t play for a while you will lose points so it’s always worth it to come back at least once a week if moving up the levels is what is right for you.
As you move up the levels you can access free cash at the end of the month and free seats at private freeroll tournaments. You cannot exchange your VIP points for any physical products. Our Sportsbet.io review gives them a lot of points for their VIP program. It could certainly be a lot worse and as it is doing what they can to reward people who keep coming back and keep playing.
Sportsbet.io Sports Betting
Sportsbet.io offers up to 30 different sports at any given time. These are going to be the sports that are in season and have a good reputation. If betting on sports is your thing, you’ll find what you are looking for at Sportsbook.io. They seem to have everything you could want and that is reflected in our Sportsbet.io review.
There has never been a report of a Sportsbet.io scam. There is no question that Sportsbet.io is legit. Sportsbet.io withdrawal works. So does Sportsbook.io deposit. We did a Sportsbook.io test and everything seemed fine.
The odds at Sportsbet.io are not the highest in the industry but are not low either. Every so often they will post something with great odds but that is rare. Still, our Sportsbet.io review gives them high marks for the level of odds that are offered.
Live Betting & Streaming
When it comes to live streaming, if there is a way to live stream a match, Sportsbet.io will have it. That makes us give them a ton of points in our Sportsbet.io review. When they can’t live stream a match, they have animations that will appear on the screen showing exactly what is going on. They also constantly update the scores for matches on their site. All of this is great and is reflected in our Sportsbet.io review. They are that good.
Sportsbet.io also offers the chance to bet on matches that are in play. They seem to have one of the highest numbers of options in-play bets of any place we have seen. Once again this is reflected in our Sportsbet.io review. They seem to just know what a gambler is looking for and provide it.
There is no information on their site about betting limits on sports matches. And they don’t have the ability to bet on current events or the results of political elections. While this would be a nice feature to add – like so many other sportsbooks have done – it is not that critical to our review of the site. It advertises that sports are what it is about, and sports are what they stick to. Specialization is sometimes a good thing.
You get most major and some minor sporting events to bet on. These sports are concentrated on what is popular in the UK and India. While you can bet on US sports you do have somewhat fewer options with them. This may be tied to their refusal to use the US dollar for any of their transactions. Given that there are plenty of sportsbooks out there with more coverage of US sports we don’t see that as too big a misstep.
So, our Sportsbet.io review is mostly positive. They seem to be a dedicated team (except for their customer service department) and are doing what they can to offer a fun enjoyable experience in their sportsbook.
Sportsbet.io is an excellent crypto sportsbook. It could use better customer service but that is our only real complaint about the site. We’d also like a better welcome bonus but given what the site offers we can shrug that off. A good welcome bonus only helps you one time. A well laid out sportsbook with an excellent casino is someplace you can keep playing at long after you’ve forgotten about the welcome bonus.
Our Sportsbet.io review is strong, as was our BitCasino.io review. We think they do a great job. If they keep going the way they are going they are going to be around for a long time. And that makes us happy.
