Pleased to meet you! I’m Norman, a Korean-American baseball nut from Philly. Crypto casino gaming and online sports betting are in my blood, but I’m also a huge fan of old-school Hollywood movies, TV comedy, and K-drama. Growing up where I did, I’ve been a huge Phillies fan since birth. Round these parts, it’s practically a legal requirement. Having said that, ever since I moved to The Big Apple with my wife back in ’06, I’ve gradually grown more accustomed to drinking beers alongside Mets and Yankees diehards – we might not always see eye-to-eye, but hey, you guys aren’t half bad!

As a child I actually never much cared for sports, but my Dad soon changed that. Of course, him and his buddies had Phillies season ticket plans, and he’d make a point of dragging me along as often as he could. Add to that the baseball card boom among kids of my generation, and weekend after weekend of father-son ball game bonding in the yard, and naturally I was a diehard fan by the time I hit by teens. I hope to influence my own son in the same way.

I never quite imagined I’d end up writing about betting as a day job, but here we are. I guess my frighteningly good memory when recalling stats and scores somehow landed me my dream career.

Over the past few years, I’ve made a fair few crypto investments. I sadly missed out on Bitcoin’s big 2017 boom, but this stirred within me a major crypto obsession and I study markets and trends these days even harder than I used to hit the books preparing for the finals for my Journalism and Sports Broadcasting major back at the University of Penn.

Obviously I like to kick-back sometimes, too. My ideal Sunday would be a few quiet beers with my wife in front of a good K-drama or classic Hollywood movie, for example. I’m a sucker for Spielberg – I mean, who isn’t?

What is your favorite casino game?

I’d have to go with roulette. People think of it as being all about sheer luck, but if you read up on roulette strategies, the mechanics of the game are really fascinating from a math perspective.

What is your favourite horror movie?

I’m really more of a rom-com or adventure kind of guy, but The Shining always creeped me out – a real classic.
